Our client, a high-quality asset manager that serves private clients, is seeking a Client Services/Administration Specialist to join their team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the opening and onboarding of new client investment accounts in South Africa and offshore.

    • Knowledge of FICA requirements for South African accounts  

    • Knowledge of Know Your Client (KYC) process for offshore accounts advantageous.

    • Scrip management of any holdings that may be transferred at take-on or termination

  • Monthly Financial Reporting to clients:

    • Maintenance of local reporting system

    • Fund Performance checks

  • Monitoring of portfolio returns for accuracy and reasonability

  • Preparation of supporting documentation where needed

  • Dissemination of reports

  • Attention to detail a must

  • Cash management - ensuring liquid funds are available where applicable

  • Tax reporting to clients

  • Assisting with queries/requests and liaising with clients/custodians/third parties

  • All other Ad Hoc administration

Experience and Key Competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years experience

  • Attention to detail

  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

  • Analytical Ability

  • Client Service Orientated

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

  • Proficient in Excel
