They are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Finance Director, based in Arusha, Tanzania to join the leadership team. This role will be crucial in ensuring efficient financial analysis, reporting, planning, and control across all business entities. The Finance Director will oversee budgeting, cash flow management, financial risk mitigation, and lead the finance and IT functions. In addition, they will work closely with business leaders to drive strategic financial decisions and maintain strong audit practices.

Key Responsibilities
Lead financial analysis for all entities, ensuring optimal cash flow and profitability.
Manage and lead the finance team, ensuring high performance and development.
Oversee budget management, with a strong focus on cash flow enhancement.
Report financial performance to property EXCO and Management Co.
Support the audit process; ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Identify and address financial risks while maintaining a connected financial ecosystem across business entities.
Oversee IT/IS functions to optimize group efficiency.
Test feasibility of proposed projects and assist in financial modelling for business opportunities.
Develop and implement a business model to achieve strategic financial and operational objectives.
Provide timely and accurate investor reporting.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of internal and external audits.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
A qualified Accountant (CA or equivalent).
A minimum of 12 years post-qualifying experience in commercial finance.
Expertise with accounting software (Syspro, Accpac, Sage Pastel, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of Tanzanian tax, labor, and employee benefits legislation (preferable).
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
A passion for the hospitality industry and its role in supporting conservation efforts.
Ability to travel and live in a remote location as needed.
A self-starter with a high level of integrity, organization, and flexibility.
